The brand name comes from the Sanskrit word Khela, meaning "playfulness." This word, which also evokes a sporty, passionate, and free spirit, is central to the brand's character.

Khela is a brand founded in 2021 by Ceren Bulut and is largely shaped by women today. From design to production, from decision-making processes to daily operations, women's labor, perspective, and intuition are present in every stage of the brand.
